About Ladera Sports Center


Voted Best Indoor Sports Center in Orange County!

As the premier, multi-purpose facility dedicated to providing world-class indoor programs and events in Southern California, youth and adult sports teams travel to the Ladera Sports Center to participate in basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, and martial arts competitions. We also host youth day camps, dance troupes, private basketball training, and special programs including corporate outings and fundraising events. In 2018, we were awarded the Reader’s Choice award for Best Indoor Sports Facility by Parenting OC magazine.

ABOUT THE FACILITY

What does this facility have to offer?

  • There are 8 courts available primarily for basketball and volleyball but can be used for any court sport.

What are the hours of operation for the Ladera Sports Center?

  • Monday - Friday: 8am - 9pm.

  • Open on the weekends (times may vary)

What sports teams will be practicing here?

  • The facility is open to any group or sport team to rent for practice times. At the moment our in house teams include Team Nikos Basketball Academy, Ladera Ranch NJB and Prime Volleyball Club. Please contact the individual club teams via their websites for registration information.

Is there seating for spectators?

  • Yes. Each court has between 62-84 spectators seats available on a first come first serve basis.

Are animals permitted in the center?

  • Registered services animals are permitted in the center. All other furry companions should be kept at home for their safety and the safety of our athletes.

Do you have an onsite restaurant?

  • We have the All-Star Café that is open Monday - Friday: 4pm - 9pm. The café is also open during weekend tournaments. The café serves healthy drinks and snacks so players and families can have a bite to eat during practices and games.

How much is parking?

  • Parking is FREE at Ladera Sports Center from Monday through Friday, excluding some holidays and special events. Saturday and Sunday onsite parking has a standard parking charge of $15 for Basketball events and $20 for Volleyball events. (fees for other events will be announced prior to event)

  • LSC also offers camp/tailgating locations onsite for certain events.

  • Do not park in the 24-Hour Fitness parking lots across from LSC. They will tow vehicles at your expense.

Lost & Found

  • Lost and found is located in the basketball equipment room on the gym floor.

  • Due to the amount of items lost, or left at the facility we are unable to keep items for more than 1 week. Each Friday the lost and found items are donated to the Salvation Army.


RENTAL INFO

Do we get a membership?

  • No. This is a rental-based facility.

Can ANYONE just rent it out?

  • Yes. Anyone or any group can rent a single court or multiple courts for an hourly rate. There is a 24-hour approval period for all reoccurring rentals. Daily walk in rentals are accepted based on court availability.

What is the process of renting out the facility?

  • Please contact Ladera Sports Center to fill out a Facility Agreement Request Form to begin the process (949) 325-6080.

Do we make the payments online?

  • All payment is due prior to court use and can be mailed or turned in to the front reception area for a receipt. Online payments will be available soon.

Is there a schedule online?

  • We do have a schedule online but it is best to call the facility for up-to-the minute rental availability.

What’s the Refund Policy?

  • Refunds are available for camps and rentals sponsored by the Ladera Sports Center. 48 hour notice before the event is required. Please allow between 5-7 business days for the refund to be shown in your account.

  • All refunds for club teams will be handled by the club itself and you will need to speak with the coach or head of the club to find out their refund policy.


COURT RULES

Are shirts required during game play?

  • Yes

What types of shoes are allowed on the court?

  • Only athletic shoes with non-marking soles are permitted during game play.

Are food and drinks permitted on the courts?

  • Food and gum are not permitted on the courts. Water and sports drinks are allowed but must be kept on the sidelines. There are tables next to the All Star Café where you can sit down and eat.
