PARKING ATTENDENT

Classification: Nonexempt

Compensation: $16/hour

Reports to: GM

Job Description: Responsible directing vehicles where to park, taking payments for vehicles already parked, and directing vehicles into open spots.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Guide cars to open parking spots
  • Communicate the non-parking areas on site
  • Collect fees from patrons wishing to park
  • Hold up signs advertising parking lot fees.
  • Call tow trucks if person is parked illegally.
  • Issue tags to customers to put up in their windshields for display.
  • Clean up debris from parking lot.
  • Use hand signals and lights to direct patrons into open spots.
  • Check vehicles for damage.
  • Ensure cameras are working properly in case an accident happens.
  • Position or remove barricades to prevent parking in certain spots.
  • Open doors and greet customers.
  • Dispense change if person pays fee to park.
  • Help customers locate their vehicles.
  • Resolve parking lot disputes that occur between customers.
  • Escort customers to their vehicles if needed.
  • Help customers jump-start vehicles that have died.
  • Call for cabs or tow trucks per clients' request.
  • Help patrons exit parking garage safely.
  • Give directions to nearest highway or destination.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position may involve the supervision of other employees if so directed by the GM or CEO.

Work Environment:

Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and gymnasium environments and is mostly outdoors.


TOURNAMENT STAFF

Classification: Nonexempt

Compensation: $16/hour

Reports to: VP

Job Description:

The LSC Tournament Staff will be responsible for knowing all aspects of the staffing duties for many jobs during LSC special events that include but is not limited to.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Admissions- Responsible for taking money in the form of cash, check, or credit card from patrons in exchange for food or services. Scans items, provides change, balances drawer, and processes card transactions.
  • Gym Monitor- Responsible for ensuring the gym is in top shape. Checking for possible rule breakers bringing in food, drinks, chairs on top the gym floors. Monitors the game times and ensure things are running smoothly while clean.
  • Wristband Checker- Responsible for checking for customer’s wristband for proof of payment when entering the facility for a special event.
  • Coaches check In- Responsible for checking for Coaches In for their tournament and ensuring payment has been received.
